Good morning my loyal and patient followers! I have been busy busy busy, with not a lot of crafting time set aside. Though in the past few weeks, I’ve been crocheting some quick cotton washcloths, to discourage my constant purchasing of washcloth bundles at Tar-jay.
I’ve been working on my house a lot too, trying to get a landing strip set up so that I stop throwing my coat on the couch every night, and tossing my shoes under the small table by the door.
Also, I was in desperate need of a dresser. Luckily, I happen to have a good (and handsome) friend who is a bit of a hoarder. He dug one up from his storage space and even delivered it. However … it’s in rough shape. People. I mean ROUGH. It needs a heavy sanding, and an intense coat of paint. Oh. And maybe this project?
It’s pretty straightforward. Unfortunately, the dresser I have has handles that are part of the actual drawers rather than hardware. And it’s just plain white, so I’d have to paint over it, and then REPAINT. This make me almost want to find another dresser, but at the same time, it’s hard to beat free (and delivered).
